Jennifer Rae has this ability to create scenes within the story that are like tiny peaks of anticipation. Minute moments that make the pulse quicken, the hairs on the back of your neck rise and your body reacts with the character in expectation of what is to come.
In a story set within the folds and world of sexual pleasure that ability becomes almost like an instrument to pleasure or indeed torture. Faith and Cash interact with an almost electric magnetic pull. A game of teasing and a battle of wills unfolds between them.
Arguing over the necessity of love within a physical relationship, whilst prancing around the fact they both want to do the horizontal tango right here, right now with each other and perhaps even give the vertical version a try.
Faith is really set on proving her theory. No matter how peculiar the fetish, the coupling or the arrangement. Her need to achieve a positive result is almost obsessive and links back to her own personal experiences. Unfortunately Cash not only disagrees with the fanciful notion he is also determined to prove her wrong.
A romance that visits the most unusual sexual endeavours before there is even a romance to speak of.
