Artemis needs to think before she acts

To Cast a Stone (Goddess Redemption, #1)To Cast a Stone by Kelli Lockheart
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Not a bad start to the series.
Novella length first part in a paranormal romance about quick tempered Artemis and her difficult love life.
The mythology aspect might veer a little close to other popular books in the genre, but all mythology is up for grabs and has been used in abundance so creating a completely new slant on things will be quite difficult.
If the following parts/novellas are going to be an extension of Artemis being reborn over and over then I would caution the author to make sure the stories stay original and not become repetitive.
The love scenes are steamy enough to awaken the senses and yet so mild that they don’t swallow the story.
I will be interested to see where the author takes this and hope that the characters and plot are given a little more depth.
I received a copy of this book courtesy of the author.
